If I were to design, my own study I think I would instead do study on the participants family dynamics instead of social media use

If I were to design, my own study I think I would instead do study on the participants family dynamics instead of social media use. I would design a study with 50 Chinese participants and 50 Americans participants. I would make them record at end of each day how much time they spent with their family and their feelings whilst being in the company of their family. With the overall results I could compare the overall family dynamics. My study is entirely different than the first one because it doesn't pertain social media, also it solves the challenge of diving deeper into family culture by centering the study around family.
