For this assignment, you are not limited to edu, gov, or org – the purpose of this is to practice evaluating Internet sources so your selected Internet sites do not need to be serious academic sources. Utilize Chapter 6 of University Success, “Research & Writing Essays,” to assist you in completing this assignment.

1. For your three selected websites, briefly answer the following questions:

• When was the website last updated? Is the information up-to-date and current?
• Is the site itself relevant to your research topic or is it just a page from an unrelated website?
• Is the author authoritative? Is the information verifiable? Are sources cited? Who sponsored the work?
• Do the cited sources come from a variety of origins or are they limited or an echo chamber?
• Are there errors on the webpage or does it show signs of being edited?
