Design the formwork for a concrete slab 8—in thick whose net width between beam faces is 15ft. Concrete will be placed using a crane and bucket. The form work is estimated to weigh 51b..-'sq ft. Decking will be 3/4 in. Class I Plyform with face grain across supports. All lumber will be Southern Pine. Joists will be nominal 2-in wide lumber. One 4-in wide stringer will be placed between the beam faces. Limit de?ection to 1/360 of span length. Commercial shores of 4500 lb capacity will be used. Lateral support will be provided by the beam forms.
