Introduction

In this coursework, you will carry out two experimental in gear system .

You will need to attend, analyse and discuss the experimental results based on your understanding of the gear system .Undertaking this assignment will enable you to understand, establish and apply the principle of the two main areas within machine and mechanisms in solving engineering problems.

The Brief

You are asked to attend the accelerated gear experiment (week 5) to enable to gather the experimental procedure and result. However, failed to that all data (including video) will be uploaded into the folder of workshop 1 and workshop 2.

The structure may include:

Cover page including name - Abstracts.
Contents including figure list and table list.
Introduction.
Theory and literature review.
Experiment methodology.
Experimental result.
Theory calculation. - Critical analysis (IMPORTANT)- Discussion.
Conclusions.
Recommendations.
Appendices.

ONE report will be created based on two experimental therefore you might use the heading and subheading for each experimental.

Detail requirement:

Third person must be used in the report. Since this is a standard and technical report therefore the word I, we, they and another first person IS NOT allowed.

Equation edition or similar tools for typing formulas MUST be used.

Scan of the formula and lab sheets are NOT allowed.

Correct citation of reference and proper numbering of equations and figures.

Reference MUST BE provided and follow Harvard style referencing system (including referencing).
