Write a short paragraph about the tissue, describing the structure and organization of it, along with the tissue’s function and possible locations of a simple cuboidal epithelium lining in kidney tubules. 

example: A. Simple Squamous Epithelial Tissue

Simple squamous epithelium is composed of flat cells in a single layer. In the example I found, the simple squamous epithelial tissue is lining a small vein. The apical surface of the tissue faces the hollow lumen (partially filled with blood) and the basal surface of the tissue faces the surrounding connective tissue. Between the simple squamous epithelium and the surrounding connective tissue, there is a basement membrane that helps to anchor the tissue in place. Simple squamous epithelium creates a smooth, nearly frictionless environment inside the small vein, but in other places it can allow for rapid diffusion of small particles.
