You will be assigned to a group for the entire semester. Each group will be responsible to choose an important theme or topic covered in the course that featured Asian Americans in significant ways. Some of the prominent themes include the influx of racial violence against Asian Americans amid the pandemic, the stigmatization of Asian Americans as insanitary and carriers of the corona virus, or Asian Americans’ fight for racial and economic justice, etc. The Group Research Project entails three major parts.

Part I Once your group agrees on a topic or theme and you then to write a research proposal. The Research Proposal should not more than 2 pages and should include: • a comprehensive topic, • a research rationale, • a thesis statement, • research methodology, • and a table of content. Note: I have to approve your research proposal before you can proceed with your research
