The president of The Lasell Robotics Manufacturing Company is making a presentation to a new, and potentially large, customer. She asks you, the operations manager, to come to the conference room to explain your operations strategy and how you add value to the customer. What do you say? Be specific and use examples where appropriate. 2. You are the manager of Elizabeth’s House of Pizza. All of your workers have called in sick (it’s a Saturday night and they actually all went to a concert). Four local college students, all operations strategy students, arrive to order pizza, and you hire them on the spot to help you through the night. How would you deploy and utilize them? Be specific and task-oriented. At the end of the night, how would you know if you were successful? As the manager, how would you handle the staff that called in sick?
