PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT
This assignment will provide you with a solid start on your final demonstration project. Specifically,
this assignment is a draft of the first 30% of your demonstration project. Prior to submitting your
assignment you will receive a critique of your draft from two peers within the individual discussion for
this week. To ensure that expectations are clear, please reference the Instructor's Grading Rubric
prior to submitting your assignment. This is the rubric that will be used to grade your submission.

ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Using the instructions provided for the final demonstration project as a template, provide the
following for this part of your Groups and Teams Business Plan Part I:
Team Purpose, Goals, and Membership
Provide a detailed description of the team or group you will be creating, including:

1. The purpose and/or goal(s) for the team to accomplish.

2. Any associated timelines.

3. Which stakeholder groups should be represented on your team, and why?

4. How many members will you recruit for your team? Why?

5. Whether members should be homogeneous or heterogeneous.

6. Summarize the unique talents, skills, and hopes that need to be present among team members
to master the innovation or accomplishment challenge you have established for the team, and
why is each important?

Team Leadership, Roles, & Processes
Provide detailed team specifications, including:

1. Will the team select its own leader, or will the leader be predetermined? Why?
- If the leader will be predetermined, who have you selected to lead the team, and why?
- Explain why assigning a predetermined leader is beneficial for the team.
2. To whom will the team report?
- Why is this person important as a team sponsor?
- Will this person also participate as a member of the team? Why or why not? |
