In your assigned group, you will investigate a professional organization related to the practice of histotechnology and pathology.  Each group has been assigned a topic based on the group title.  Familiarize with yourself with the organization and explore the following items:

• purpose/mission statement
• types of professionals served by the organization
• certifications and other professional qualifications granted
• application process and eligibility requirements for becoming a member
• benefits of membership
• conventions, education, etc. offered or supported by the organization

As a group, you will form a recruiting committee for this organization.  Your goal is to find new members that are new to or still pursuing education in the field.  Develop a presentation, promotional flier, commercial, or other tool of your choice.  You should present the above items in a creative manner to promote your organization.  You can use available technology to collaborate through the course, Google Drive (via institutional email), or other applications.  Please share any documents outside the course with your instructor.  Submit your final group project via the dropbox AND post to the available discussion forum for review by the rest of the class (only one submission for each group, in each format is necessary).

You will have access to only your group's work area via the group link within the course.

Points will be awarded based on creativity, information shared, individual participation and distribution of the work, persuasiveness of the project, and recording of resources (in APA format).
