Case 4 Age: 54 Gender: F The patient reports a history of left middle ear reconstructive surgery, the last surgery being 10-12 years ago. She indicates that her left ear is still “poor” and is concerned about a possible decrease in hearing in the right ear. She reports having to request repetitions more frequently than in the past, and she might consider hearing aid use. She denies tinnitus, ear pain, aural fullness, and recent ear infections. She reports vertigo with slight nausea, triggered by sudden movements. The episodes are brief.
