In your reading, you were exposed to a decomposition of UAS propulsion into a framework of sub-elements. This activity will allow you to apply that decomposition methodology to additional UAS platforms.
You will perform a brief survey to identify three UAS, one with a reciprocating engine, one gas turbine, and one electric propulsion.
Note: You cannot choose one of the platforms identified by Griffis, Wilson, Schneider, and Pierpont (2008) or Griffis et al. (2009) from the required or supplemental reading.
Locate a datasheet or similar reference for each UAS and write a summary organized for readability addressing the following:
Following your summary of each UAS, in one or two paragraphs, briefly summarize any insights gained through this exercise of decomposition and analysis.
Cite your sources using APA style citations including the datasheet and/or other resources used.
Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or description). Do not add punctuation or special characters.
Your paper will automatically be evaluated through Turnitin when you submit your assignment in this activity. Turnitin is a service that checks your work for improper citation or potential plagiarism by comparing it against a database of web pages, student papers, and articles from academic books and publications. Ensure that your work is entirely your own and that you have not plagiarized any material!
