Due May 7. To gain a deeper appreciation of our genetic heritage read the book, The Seven Daughters of Eve by Bryan Sykes.

The First Half of the book is a scientific account tracing the myocardial DNA found in females only to the common

ancestor of every man, woman and child on the planet. It is written in a language easily understood by any high school

graduate. You must write a three to four-page paper detailing your understanding of the science involved from The Ice Man,

the Golden Hamster and the family of the last Russian Tzar to a clear understanding of how one particular woman's DNA

was so adaptive her descendants literally took over the entire human population. When (approximately) she lived and where,

as well as any and all pertinent information.

However, you needn't read the second half of the book in depth. - just skim over it while he imagines her seven daughters (real)

but written as historical fiction, along with names and all (completely fictional).
