Step-by-step explanation

Essay

So, what is the day Georgia changed from red to blue? On October 27, 2020, presidential aspirant Joe Biden went to Atlanta, Georgia, in the campaign's final stages. Joe Biden's speech was one of a kind and fueled his "Battle for the soul of the nation" initiative and ultimately led to his election as president (Sanford, 2020). What is remarkable about the speech is that Biden optimally utilizes rhetorical appeals (ethos, pathos, and logos) to convince and state his aspirations of the type of America he wants to build.
Joe Biden's speech in Georgia had to be perfect. From the early 21st century, people associate the Georgian State with being a Republican, and henceforth Biden faces a daunting task to bring the State to his side. However, his speech was as flawless as a speech could be. In his remarks, Biden targeted middle-class minorities without necessarily hurting the majority in any way. With the Covid-19 crisis causing havoc on families and the economy and the Black Lives Matter movement, Biden shines a light on the intended audience and proposes a better and more reliable solution to help not only the middle class but everyone.
Biden suggests that Georgia was always a reasonable state and was not blindly follow anyone. The aspirant goes straight to the point by stating the Trump administration has failed and underperformed as its current Georgian senators seek to do Trump's bidding instead of helping the people. Biden says that he wants a change in the senatorial seat to his favor to provide a person who ought to "fight for everyone, not just Trump ."Furthermore,  Biden reminds the Georgians of the gross management of the Covid-19 crisis. He creates emotions by stating how millions have lost their jobs, thousands have died, and families are suffering. Meanwhile, Trump tells people to "live with it" while ignoring scientific advice (Sanford, 2020). Biden states that he will initiate a plan to combat Covid-19  revolving around tracing, testing, and wearing masks when he is in power. Biden is also willing to work with all parties in emergency cases. Biden, therefore, calls for collective reasoning of the people to understand the solutions he is offering.
Biden states that economically, Trump has destroyed everything he builds with his predecessor Barack Obama. With Trump already a known billionaire, Biden pointed out that the president was only working for the rich. The above fact one can see by the around ninety top corporations in the United States who don't pay any income tax. Biden states that he won't work for the wealthy and will use the tax reliefs from corporations to help the middle and low-income earners access healthcare, childcare support and allow for the elderly. Biden also promises to lower the costs of medicine by sixty percent and health care insurance premiums through subsidies while increasing the minimum wage to $15 per hour (Sanford, 2020). Biden knows the economy is tough, especially on the low and middle class; therefore, it gives the middle-class relief to hear that Biden can help in various ways.
Biden finally addresses the sensitive and controversial topic of systemic racism. Before he goes deeper into the issue, Biden says he and others will forever remember the lives of George Floyd, Brenda Taylor, and others who indiscriminately lost their lives. Biden states that he hates violence and that the Black Lives Matter movement is a cry for justice. His sentiments are heartfelt and evoke emotions. Biden says that if elected, his administration will strive to stop systemic discrimination and invest a $70 billion fund towards helping minorities with small businesses and owning homes (Sanford, 2020). Again, this is a call for reasoning why Georgians should elect the aspirant.
Joe Biden's use of ethos, pathos, and logos in his speech is breath-taking and quickly garners the attention and support of the Atlantic people. In conclusion, in the campaign period, Joe Biden was phenomenal, and through his speech, he called out the opposition a few times without necessarily being vulgar about it. The presidential aspirant is a speech tactician, and it showed when he was able to appeal to the people's feelings while seamlessly laying out his manifestos. Biden addresses all the correct issues that citizens of Georgia State needed to hear and assures and reassures them of how he would fulfill every single promise when elected to president. The aspirant appeals conclude by a call to action stating, "We choose hope over fear, unity over division, science over fiction, and yes, truth over lies (Sanford, 2020)."
