In this week, we’ll use the data file drugtrial independent ANOVA.sav.

1. Carefully examine all variables in this data set and propose a meaningful RQ for a two-way factorial ANOVA analysis. Make sure you include a RQ for interaction and two RQs for main effects. Write null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis. (20%)

2. Check assumptions. Please refer to PPT with lecture.  (30%)

   2. Normality (15%)
   3. Homogeneity (10%)

3. Run a two-way factorial ANOVA in SPSS and write up your results. Please use APA style in reporting results. Include tables – refer to page 140 in Problem 8.2.  (30%)

4. Examine simple effect if interaction is significant. (20%)
