The article I selected was How human-computer 'superminds' are redefining the future of work. The main agrument of the article is with the evolution of new smart technologies, 'human-computer superminds', what kind of jobs computers will leave for humans to do. "Human achievements have been made by groups of people, not lone individuals. As we incorporate smart technologies further into traditionally human processes, an even more powerful form of collaboration is emerging." Also, how people and computers can work together. Creating a more collectively intelligent systems by building societies of mind that include both humans and computers, each doing part of the overall taks. For example, "an automated assistant is the software used by the online clothing retailer Stitch Fix Inc., based in San Francisco, California to help its human stylists recommend items to customers. Together, the combination of people and computers provide better service than either could alone."

This article made a strong argument on how humans and computers can work together to achieve tasks at a higher level. I was really intrigued when I read this article because the advancements of new technologies will have an impact in anyones life who wants to work at the highest capability now and in the future. Personally, I know that with my career path, technology will play an important role. So I know what’s best for me is to become aware and adapt to the future of smart technologies. As stated, "As new technologies make certain tasks easier, we are likely to see many more examples of human-computer superminds being used to solve all kinds of business and societal problems. Not just corporate strategic plans, but also designs for new houses, smarthphones, factories, cities, educational systems, and medical treatment plans. The possibilities are virtually unlimited."
