What: Create a Works Cited (MLA) or Reference (APA) list for 6 of your sources with a short summary (1-3 sentences) of each. Remember that one of your sources should be the chapter you read in The New Jim Crow. You may need to find additional sources.

Why: Part of your job for the annotated bibliography is to describe your reason for including a source in your research. You will need to validate the source’s credibility and its relevance to your research question. This assignment will help you start to build your thinking toward those annotations so that you already have a foundation for the final assignment when you start it next week.

How: Provide a Works Cited (MLA) or Reference (APA) list for 6 sources that you intend to use for your annotated bibliography. Write a sentence or two to summarize each source.
