The group will be devoted to one purpose, which is ensuring that veterans live good lives with dignity and respect. It will achieve its purpose by making sure that veterans, together with their families and access their benefits, fight for their interests and educate others about their sacrifices and how to live like civilians.
Goals for the Group (2-3)
The main goal of this group is to address Veterans Health Care. It purports to be the largest unified health care network in the country, with health care facilities that will serve many Veterans each year. Secondly, the group will address Veterans Benefits. Veterans can get several benefits that help them move back to civilian life in the country they fought to defend. The group will help service members to move out of military service and help them with education, life insurance, home loans, and much more.
Finally, it aims at ensuring that there are National Cemeteries for veterans. Marzen (2021) states that Veterans should not be forgotten. They should have dignified burial services and lasting tributes that honour their service and sacrifice to the nation.
Objectives of the Group
To realize the above goals, the group will have integrity and abide by the accepted ethics. According to Giordano, Ones, and Viswesvaran (2020), every conduct should be rooted in mutual respect, integrity, and civility. The group will value ethical behaviour in its members and leaders at every level. The members believe in the dignity and worth of everybody, strive to adopt an appreciation of and respect for diversity and differences among leaders, peers, and members. The members are committed to an environment of teamwork whereby everyone is valued, encouraged to contribute, treated with respect, and recognized and rewarded for their efforts. Secondly, the group will remain relevant. Expertise and a proactive and progressive atmosphere will yield a great combination that will continuously set the group apart. It is a method that decodes into timely executions and decisions, constant pursuit for solutions, and rapid reactions to the media on issues that face Veterans and their families. It will also educate its members on all bills relevant to the health of Veterans and their families and issues that may make a concrete difference in the world around for the better.
Thirdly, the group will maintain teamwork. Its members will recognize that it is everybody's right to be listened to regardless of their viewpoint. All team members should be caring for each other both personally and professionally and be loyal to one another while being supportive of each other's efforts (Peruzzo et al., 2019). The teamwork system encourages individuals to make their best contributions, offers them the support they require to succeed, celebrates their common accomplishments, and promotes communication. The group will present a unified image, both in behaviour and visually, to ensure the integrity of the group while creating an identifiable status as a service organization.
