  1. Sir Christopher Gaze believes that one of Shakespeare's most famous sonnets may be a eulogy for his dead son. Do you agree or disagree?

I agree that Shakespeare wrote a eulogy for his son, Hamnet, who died at 11 after falling ill. A few years after he died, Shakespeare wrote 'Hamlet,' a literature piece talking about the relationship of a father and son and his eventual death, which I believe was an attribute to his son; having that the name of the piece differing from Shakespeare's son's name by only one letter and the storyline pointing out familiar things in Shakespeare's life, like Hamnet's death. Lastly, Shakespeare uses the homophones' son' and 'sun' in sonnet 33. He writes, "Even so my sun one early morn did shine, With all triumphant splendor on my brow; But out, alack, he was but one hour mine, The region cloud hath mask'd him from me now" (Shakespeare, 1609). All this points out that Hamlet and Sonnet 33 were more likely to be Shakespeare's eulogy to his dead son.

  1. Akala poses the question: Who is allowed to be the custodian of knowledge? What does that mean to you, personally, as it applies to your own life?

According to my, a custodian of knowledge is a person who has gone through a vast or important experience with different aspects such as culture, history, art, time, etc. Moreover, a custodian of knowledge has this knowledge and can share it with their communities and impact them. Anyone can be a custodian of knowledge, and with the growing digital world, it is easier for them to spread the knowledge and make a change globally. Some of the custodians of knowledge I know are social media content creators and influencers. I learned how to cook different meals through my favorite Youtuber, and she is to be a custodian of knowledge.
