Effective practitioners must align a decision-making theoretical framework with a set of decision tools. This helps clarify expectations for teams tasked with making strategic, tactical, and operational decisions related to market share, employee retention, quality improvement, and so on. Regardless of the overall aim, choosing wisely is important so that decisions are sound.

Using the material from Module 1 and Module 4 in this course, address the following:

1. Define a problem within a specific organizational context.
2. Using the problem scope and organizational context, provide a rationale for the use of a specific decision-making theoretical framework.
3. Choose a minimum of four specific decision tools/techniques to apply to the problem to make a better decision.
4. For each decision tool/technique, explain the alignment and rationale for alignment with the chosen decision-making theoretical framework.
5. Finally, clarify how this alignment supports problem solving or quality improvement.
