1. How is the model-minority image a disservice to both Asian Americans and other subordinate racial and ethnic groups?

2. What stereotypical images of Asians can you identify in the contemporary media?

3. What events can you imagine that could cause the United States to again identify an ethnic group for confinement in some type of internment camps? You can give current examples such as Guantanamo or immigration detention centers.

4. What has been the legacy of the Yellow Peril?
