Naming Convention: MLC_GROUP NAME_GROUP ASSERTION OUTLINE

An Assertion is a stylistic approach or technique involving a strong declaration, a forceful or confident and positive statement regarding a belief or an fact. Often, it is without a proof or any support.

There is no designated format for the White Paper Outline. Your group will submit one outline for the entire group based on the groups White Paper Topic. Each member of the team will write on a subcategory of the main topic, ensuring that you address how it supports the overarching theme.

Keep in mind the White Paper must include the following: 1. Introduction/Summary 2. History/Background and Context 3. Problem (Defined) 4. Discussion to relate point of view from sources used 5. Writer takes a position 6. Solution/s 7. Conclusion. The individual paper will be combined with the other group members papers to form a comprehensive discussion and recommended solution to the contemporary issue facing the Army and nation.
