Esra'a exemplifies personality, individual activism, and institutional advocacy; she advocates for herself as a lesbian and for others. Additionally, she develops a forum for people to ask and answer concerns about the LGBT community and their orientation. She wishes to represent the views of others, as women in Bahrain lack a strong voice and platform. Esra'a is being self-reflective, scrutinizing her information critically, and speaking publicly about herself and others. She is proactive in recognizing her involvement and combating systemic injustice and inequality. She is also culturally educated and actively engaged in the struggle against discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.

 She recognizes the situation by utilizing online platforms to speak out and engage in dialogue about this highly delicate subject. Her boldness in speaking up about her story constitutes her speaking out. She is a social activist who advocates for Bahrain's marginalized LGBT minority. Esra'a said, "And it began as conflict, but I quickly realized that it was having a negligible effect."
