Writing

1) For the peer review exercise, you are required to rank every member of your group on a scale of 5 to 1 with 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.
2. The above rankings will be converted into 100, 90, 80, 75 and 70 for the rank of 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 respectively.
3. In order to accommodate adequate participation, no student should rank her/his group members earlier than 24 hours prior to the end of the electronic module.
4. You are advised to refer to the 'Discussion Board Rubric' in your peer review exercise.
5. Your rankings/peer review must be submitted to the Assessment location below: 'DB One Peer Review Submission.'
6. It is compulsory for every student to participate in the ranking. If you fail to participate, you will score a zero in the peer-review component of the grading. Recall that instructor grading is 50% and peer ranking is 50%

Team meeting attendance _____5___

Input during the Team Meeting ____5____

Input on the whole project ____5____

Participation in working as a team ____5____

General activeness in group work ____5____

Total ____25____

Comment: I have given myself the highest grades because I was the most active person in the group. I was dedicated in making sure that we always met and I tried to the best of my ability to make sure that each of the members felt at home. I was always last to leave the discussion group because I always went through what we had done to make sure it was okay and it had no flaws.

Team meeting attendance _____5___

Input during the Team Meeting ____2.5___

Input on the whole project ____5____

Participation in working as a team ____5____

General activeness in group work ____5____

Total ____22.5____

Comment: Klaus was always very punctual when it came to arriving at the group meetings. He would involve himself very much with the project that we had and always had ideas on how we could make it better. His participation was top notch and his activeness could not be matched by the other. However, he was too shy during the meetings. Most of the ideas that he gave me were when everyone else had left and we were just the both of us. I would end up telling the members that it was his idea and even then he couldn’t deliver it as well as he did when were alone.

Team meeting attendance _____4__

Input during the Team Meeting ____4____

Input on the whole project ____4____

Participation in working as a team ____4____

General activeness in group work ____4____

Total ____20____

Comment: Now Damian was not all that bad. He would regularly attend the meeting although his record wasn’t 100%. When it came to the rest of the group stuff, it depended on the mood that he woke up with that morning I guess. I mean most of the time he was active and all that but at times he would be so silent that I would literally have to ask him a question for him to comment. That is why he earned the scores above. He wasn’t all that bad.

You’re Name: ________________ Rebekah Michaelson ______________________

Team meeting attendance _____4___

Input during the Team Meeting ____4.5____

Input on the whole project ____3____

Participation in working as a team ____3.75____

General activeness in group work ____3.5____

Total ____18.75____

Comment: My friend Rebekah is a very unique case because she is very active when it comes to the group meetings and also the attendance. However, when it comes to working together as a group, she has a very poor score on that. It is because she will not submit any research, she will not look for any group member to work together with or even be active when it comes to activities that we decide to do as a group. She will only participate when we meet during meetings.

You’re Name: ________________ Karina Rosenberg ______________________

Team meeting attendance _____3.5___

Input during the Team Meeting ____3.5____

Input on the whole project ____3.5____

Participation in working as a team ____3.5____

General activeness in group work ____3.5____

Total ____17.5____

Comment: Karina has been a very difficult group member to handle. It is because she always attended meetings as she wished and also participated based on the mood she woke up with in the morning. She barely participated in the group project and she only did so when she wanted to be seen so that we did not criticize her. The same thing is true for team work and activeness in group work. I was the one who had to literally push her for her to even appear for them. I have even given her high grades. She deserved less as I don’t even think she attended half of the group meetings.
