Answer 6) Parris lies that he never saw any of the girls naked, but Proctor calls him out on the lie as he indicates that Parris claimed that he found the girls dancing naked in the woods. The fact that he calls out the lie indicates that he is unafraid to challenge the existence of witches int he area.

Answer 7) Hawthorne questions why Mary Warren would pretend to faint and say that spirits were choking her, yet she had indicated that she had never seen the spirits or manifested by the Devil or the Devil agents.

Answer 8) Abigail tells Danforth that she will not come back if Danforth insists that she answers the question about her affair with John. The threats suggest that Abigail is determined to accuse Elizabeth of witchcraft and nothing will stand in her way.
