• Media must be from a variety of sources such as academic journals, business magazines, newspapers, and other media sources, etc. It is important to use a variety of sources.
• If you choose a news article, video, podcast, or blog, make sure that it is one that most would find credible, and that the content is backed by scientific research as outlined in Module 2 (not just one person’s opinion). If unsure about the validity of a source, check with your instructor.
• Media can be sourced using Ebscohost, printed materials or reputable online magazines and news sources.
• Sources must be current. Only those published or posted within the past three years (2019, 20 or 21) will be accepted. Each article must be at least two full pages or contain 5 minutes of information.

STEPS:

1. In 2 to 3 paragraphs summarize the content of each article/communication. The summary part should be a minimum of 300 words.
2. After the summary, answer the following questions:
a. How does the article apply to other workplaces? If it does not, why not?
b. Relate the article to yourself personally. This can be sharing a similar experience, something to think about in your future business career (logistics and supply chain management) or your personal thoughts and opinions on the content.
3. List the title of the article, the author and the source must be identified on each summary. Use APA style or provide a link to the article, video, or podcast.
4. In addition to the 10 summaries, write an overview, a Grand Summary of the information that you gathered for the topic that you selected. The Grand Summary should identify the similarities and differences discussed by the authors, along with any personal opinions of the topic you might have based on your research. The summary should be a minimum of 500 words.
