Why did the authors choose a case study approach?  What was their overarching research question? How was the research enhanced as a result? How could these results inform practice?

2. Relate research using Grounded Theory to your own development as a counselor. Your chapter author provides research on the development of a unique counseling style. Based on the themes which emerged, discuss your own experiences with counselor development. How do you see your future work with clients shaping your growth as a counselor? What validation needs can you identify for yourself now and in the future?
