How to write a discussion by analyzing the Texas state election process by analyzing a candidate for the November 2020 election.  

1. Choose a candidate from the 2020 state election (not national election) and give a brief description of who this person is.
2. Name one specific policy supported by that candidate.  Explain what that policy is.
   1. What was the candidate’s party's stance on that policy?
3. Did public opinion affect this policy and how did it have an affect?
   1. If so how?  If not why not?
4. What interest groups and/or individuals supported this policy?
   1. Why did they support this policy?
   2. What groups and/or individuals were against this policy and why?
