2. Acquire utility financial statements (balance sheets and income statements) for at least two years from the primary utility you have chosen to study. Compare these statements with examples in your text. Examine the similarities and differences and explain in detail what they are.

Financial statements can be located through a search of stock information on one of the following:

• Google, MSN, Yahoo, or some other search engine
• A company website
• Annual reports (located on the company website)
