2) Read and study the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) (at: https://www.un.org/development/desa/indigenouspeoples/declaration-on-the-rights-of-indigenous-peoples.html). "Copy and paste" the link into your web browser to open. The document is also available in the "Resources" menu to the left. Then, answer the questions from the “FAQs” towards the bottom of the page. You'll see that the answers are given, but I want you to briefly explain the points "in your own words" (paraphrase). You will send your answers to me as homework here in "Assignments" (below) due next Wednesday, Sept. 1. I'm looking for short answers to the questions, so about 1-1.5 double-spaced pages in total.
