Universal Health Group is a corporation that owns hospitals and clinics, including outpatient surgery services, medical specialization, trauma centers, emergency care, and family practices. It currently has $6 billion in assets with 42,000 employees and more than 3,000 affiliated physicians. It has 120 locations across the United States offering same-day appointments and preventive and wellness services, with more than 5,000 beds serving the Southern United States and beyond. From a strategic perspective, the focus is on acquisitions of local hospitals and clinics across the United States with the following specific strategic objectives. 1. Provide the best in-class patient care while lowering the per capita costs. 2. Create a culture that fosters high-quality and compassionate care through focus on the patient and employee experience in every facility. 3. Create opportunities for teaching, learning, and research with a focus on innovation and quality for patient care and physician support. 4. Implement systems and processes that accelerate clinical care improvements through multidisciplinary integrated teams delivering outcome-focused, customized care. 5. Create a culture and support system to attract the best physicians to provide care to our patients. You are the program manager for the information technology infrastructure and applications upgrade and will be asked to develop a plan to execute the program.
