A business Cash receipts and cash payments for a specific period are reported on a Statement of Cash Flows. Cash Flow Statement is a financial statement that measures the cash generated or used by a company in a given period. 

Cash flow statement classifies all the cash receipts and cash payments of a business firm under three following ways.

• Operating cash flows
• Investing cash flows
• Financing cash flows
