1)Choose one of the stories that we have read in class. First, in just a paragraph or so, summarize the story. Then write about what you thought it meant when you first read it, and what you thought it meant after we had discussed it in class. There is a difference between summary and meaning, and I want you to see it here. What do you think we, as readers, are meant to understand.
