Hello Everyone

       Primary prevention programs are for children who haven't begun to get in trouble and who are under the age of 3. Secondary prevention programs are for children who have already displayed behavioral issues or have been in trouble for a minor issue. Tertiary prevention programs are for juveniles who have already been in trouble and continue to display delinquent behavior.

       I definitely believe these programs can be helpful. Most children who display behavior issues are crying out for attention and help. If there are programs that help that child and give them someone to talk to about what they may be going through or show them there are other ways if gives that child a better chance. I also believe that if others are involved and are able to talk to a juvenile they may realize many times the problem comes from home and maybe the parents need to be aware of their behavior to realize the effect they are having on their child and possibly get some help as well. Although the programs may not save all of the juveniles, doing nothing definitely won't work!
