For the final paper you should overview and explain critically the financial and political globalization experience of Russia in the context of the changing global economic and political architecture. Your paper should cover at least five concepts or issues such as: government: democracy and authoritarian trends; domestic politics and the distribution of power at the national level; issues regarding ethnicity and religion; issues regarding nationalism; political ideologies; trade and political economy related issues; social expenditures; inequality and poverty; issues of the distribution of wealth; recent events of violence and terrorism; colonial experiences; and the extent of involvement in international organizations. The paper should be between 10-15 page (double spaced) “research paper” in which you are to present the issue(s) involved; a table of contents; review of literature; analysis; conclusion; all properly referenced by providing the necessary citations and academic attribution. The page limit does not include the cover page, extended abstract, figures, tables and list of references.
