What is your perspective as it relates to socialization

What is your perspective as it relates to socialization.  How has your life been affected by socialization from the day you stepped into the classroom for the very first time as a toddler until now?  How did you make friends, understand others, and relate how you saw the people in your personal circle communicate with others?  How important is socialization from your perspective when it comes to everyday life, politics, culture, religion, social change, etc. dealing with social issues.
