Because as we all know, anaerobic bacteria are dependent to oxygen, they can't live on their own. They commonly stay in places where there's less oxygen and are not essential to metabolic processes in the body in contrasts to aerobic bacteria. It participates to the formations of crystals and causes pain in muscled areas.
