The purpose of this assignment is to illustrate if information could be interpreted and presented similarly or differently. 

Using an internet search engine,  find a news report/article on a specific, single study about some aspect of human sexuality from a major news source that identifies the authors of the study.  Maybe that talks about research findings or discuss data or rates, etc. 

Then see if you can find the academic training and background of the original authors of the study.    Using your library’s scholarly journal database, or an internet search engine, find the actual journal article by those authors on that topic.  After reading the journal article, compare it to the media article.   Document your findings.  You can use the following questions as a guide.  What is the author's background? What was accurate? Did the journalist make any errors? Was anything important left out from the news report?  Did you find anything different between the media report and the actual article?  Which did you think sounded more believable?
