1. In what ways would a diverse environment, rich with differences, cultivate critical thinking? In what ways would an environment where everyone was similar make critical thinking difficult? Give at least two specific examples of classmates' cultural sharing presentations in which you learned something new about their culture and how it helped your understanding of them and of others. To receive full credit for your response, you should accurately use information from chapters 13 and 6 in our book, along with information from two cultural sharing presentations. (10 points)
    
2. During the wellness section of this course, you learned about topics and issues that students may face that can affect aspects of their health. What dimensions of people's lives contribute to their wellness?  Describe two of the presentations that left a lasting impression on you.  What was the issue that was described in each presentation and what were some of the strategies presented to manage this issue?  Why were these important or meaningful to you and how will this information be helpful to other college students? To receive full credit for your response, you should accurately use information from chapter 14, along with information from two wellness presentations. (10 points)
    
3. Each semester, new students start college for the first time.  Choose two of the topics we have covered this semester that you have found are two of the most important areas these new students should consider.  In a well-developed paragraph for each topic (total of two paragraphs), explain why you chose these topics and what strategies and information would be helpful to these new students’ success.  How did the skills you learned in each of these two units help you as a student? Be specific and use information from the text (cite with page number), your class notes, and your own experiences as a student in each paragraph. To receive full credit for your response, you should accurately use information from at least two chapters in our book, along with information from at least one class discussion, lecture, or assigned video. (20 points)
