This is a research assignment. It attempts to give you exposure to revenue recognition issues in the real world. You are required to access financial statements of both BCE Inc. and TELUS Corporation for their years ended December 31, 2018 from the companies’ respective websites.

REQUIREMENTS: Using the financial statements of these two companies, answer the following questions:

1. What type of revenue does TELUS have and when are the recognized?
2. Explain the types of contracts where the companies have multiple deliverables. How does each company allocate the revenue on these types of contracts?

You must follow the following format requirements in your report. If your report does not comply with these report requirements, your report will not be marked and graded zero.
