For discussions this week, select at least one of the following to discuss during the week.
1.  Who are the major providers of capital (financing) for business enterprises?  What influence does the
relative importance of equity financing in a country have on financial statement disclosure and accounting
methods?
2.  You can discuss the chapter 2 questions that begin on page 41.  You can choose to discuss one of the
questions--there are 10 questions, so be sure to tell us which question you are discussing.  Explain the
concept that you are discussing and give an example.
