1) There are a number of methods used to construct personality tests, including the logical-content strategy, the criterion-group strategy, factor analysis, and the theoretical strategy. You would like to create a new test to measure the characteristics needed for business success. What method or combination of methods would you use and why?
 
2) Describe how projective personality tests can best be applied. What information could you get from these tests that might not be available from other tests? What would be cautions that would apply to the use of these tests?
 
3) Explain the concept of "incremental validity." Suppose you are told that a test has high validity for predicting suicide but low incremental validity when suicide attempt history is taken into account. What does this mean?
 
4) Discuss a landmark legal case that has affected psychological testing and its current implications for practice.
 
5) Computers can administer, score, and even interpret psychological testing. Discuss the advantages, limitations, and cautions associated with this technology.
