Statement 1: Overpopulation is a serious concern and must be addressed.

Statement 2: There are multiple issues surrounding the use of private prisons. The main drive for private prisons is the ability to generate profit for the shareholders. Because of this most private prisons will cut out programs that are designed to rehabilitate inmates
