Final Product: Written Proposal
You are to will a written proposal on your selected organization CHOP. You will provide an explanation of how the capital budget proposal supports the operational and strategic goals of the organization. You will be required to explain the value of the capital proposal in consideration of current trends in healthcare and to provide financial statement support and analysis. The written proposal should be a complete, polished artifact containing all of the critical elements of the final product. It should reflect the incorporation of feedback gained throughout the course.

Please adhere to the following advice from the professor for the finished project:
Ayanna, you adequately met the objectives for Milestone Three. You used references and citations appropriately, made good use of headings and had minimal mechanical errors.  You did not capitalize hospital in the name of the organization; it really would be a good idea to define the organization as Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and then use CHOP throughout the paper to eliminate those keystrokes and reduce chance for typographical error.  As we move into the critical parts of this proposal you are going to need to be prepared to provide metrics for benchmarking the process of financing your proposal and define in numbers the short term, intermediate term, and long term impact on the financials with your proposal. While you did meet the objectives, there is no indication how prepared you are to address the issues coming in Milestone Four.  You are going to want to tie the pieces together from previous milestones to be sure you are on the right trajectory.  I would strongly recommend (even though the rubric doesn’t require it) that you prepare Milestone Four with headings and material that covers Introduction and Background; Major Forces; Impact of Forces on XXX; Opportunities; Proposal; Financial Statements; Proposal Impact; Flexed Versus Fixed Budget Options; Ratio Selection; Ratio Results; Short-Term and Long-Term Impact; etc. Of course, it is always appropriate to split material into more sections if you choose to (for example, a section for Short-Term and a different section for Long-Term Impact would not be a stretch.  Providing all of the information you can in Milestone Four will allow for adequate feedback that you can incorporate into the Final Project. In the meantime, nice work on this assignment.
