After reading the Goal answer the following questions (about a long paragraph on each)

1. What is the importance of statistical fluctuations and dependent events? How do you justify Jonah’s wisdom: “Balance flow, not capacity.”?
2. Explain the limitations of traditional cost accounting information according to Jonah.
3. Describe what you think are the lessons of the Goal. I believe the lessons of the goal are to give thoughtful insight into the world of business operations.
4. Would you expect the lessons and operating system from the Bearington plant to be transferable to other manufacturing situations?  Is it transferable to services?  Comment on why or why not for both situations.
