Inequality through monopoly capitalism is unfair. This is because monopolies have advantage in the market; they are sole providers which also indicate that consumers are dependent on them for the entirely. Monopoly capitalism is characterized by capitalists having ?private? control over capital and the ability to exercise their monopoly powers in the market.

Private and monopoly ownerships are profit oriented and deviate from the process of welfare and equality. These ownerships are able to extract higher profits by charging higher prices and no government internship to control the same would lead to concentration of incomes and wealth in the hands of these monopoly centered capitalists. Charging higher prices takes away money from the consumers, reduces their savings and purchasing power and fills the pockets of the capitalists working in the framework of monopoly. This is a clear representation of the inequality that is created due to such practices.
