Save the file as

by changing the “1” to

a “2”.

file extension

in the Save As dialog box, do not

type it. The program will add the file extension for you automatically.

With the file

first and last name is displayed in the presenter notes on Slide 1.

PROJECT STEPS

1.

The startup I AM GIF gives users the ability to easily create animated GIFs, very

short videos consisting of multiple images, from a variety of sources. You

customize the Slide Master so crowdfunding sponsors can adapt the

presentation to their audiences. View the Slide Master.

a.

On the Retrospect Slide Master, apply the

Red Orange

theme color.

b.

Apply the

Style 6

background style.

With the Retrospect Slide Master still displaying, rename the master to

Crowdsource

to distinguish the presentation from other I AM GIF fundraising

efforts.

On the Title Slide Layout, format the background as follows:

a.

Change the fill to

Pattern fill

b.

Change the Foreground color to

Gold, Accent 5, Lighter 60%

Change the pattern to the

Large confetti

On the Title and Content Layout, hide the background graphics to increase the

amount space for your content.

With the Title and Content Layout still displaying, insert and format a picture as

follows:

Insert the picture

Use the Align Right and Align Top align commands to position the picture

on the layout.

On the Section Header Layout, format the text box as follows:

Set the left margin to

0.3”

With the Section Header Layout still displaying, rotate the text box left as

shown

in Figure 1 below. (

On the Title Only Layout, delete the long gradient rectangle at the top of the

slide, and then close Master View.

View the Handout Master, and then format the handout as follows:

Change the handout orientation to

Landscape

Type

It is pronounced “Jif”

in the header, and then close Master View.

View the Notes Master, and then format the notes as follows:

a.

Insert the picture

Move the notes picture next to the placeholder as shown in Figure 2 below

and then close Master View.

In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the next page.

Save your changes, close the presentation, and then exit PowerPoint. Follow the

directions on the SAM website to submit your completed project.
