Sampling refers to a method of selecting subsets to represent a population. A population is a group of experimentation variables (individuals, items, event, and other categories) qualified in the criteria of interest. It is performed to obtain accurate and precise data in an efficient and faster way. There are different ways to perform sampling procedures and the most common ways are random and systematic sampling.
