The concept of comparative advantage and deadweight loss are also applied in the consumer market. The comparative advantage provides advantage to the firms to sells their products at lower price than other sellers. Thus the consumers also get advantage of purchasing product at lower prices. On the other hand, the deadweight loss lead to inefficiency in the market and the consumers also face the negative impact of it. The deadweight loss reduces the overall welfare in the economy and thus the welfare of consumers also reduces.
