But, even if perpetual inventory system keeps a stock card, physical counting is still a necessity to reduce the risk of fraud or error. Your job is to physically count the inventory of Proehl's Hardware Store. You need to verify if the records of the company about its inventory is accurate. Physical counting is used to confirm the existence of inventory.
