This Module Writing Assignment consists of several short essays and is worth a total of 50 points.  Answer each essay question in your own words and writing style.  I do not expect you to write like a scientist, but I do expect that you use specific facts and details that you learned from reading the textbook and watching the videos.  You will be graded based on:

• Originality - essays written in your own words. If any part of your responses has been copied from the Internet and/or book it will result in an unconditional zero. 
• Substance - specific facts and details that show an understanding of the topic/concept. 
• Completeness - answers are thorough enough to answer each question completely. 
• Citations are not required when answering these essays. 

DIRECTIONS

1. This assignment is not timed and you are allowed unlimited attempts, as long as your final attempt is submitted no later than 6:00 PM on the due date.   After the due date I will only grade your final submission. 
2. Answer all of the  essay questions.  When you are done click the "Submit Quiz" button at the bottom of the assignment. 
3. If desired, you can go back and modify/edit your answers and then submit a new attempt. Make sure to transfer all of your answers into your new attempt.  REMEMBER - ONLY YOUR LATEST SUBMISSION WILL BE GRADED!
4. It is important to know that you will not be able to do this with the two exams (midterm and final). For the midterm and final you will be allowed only one attempt and they will be timed.
